Hi,

I'm not linked to Theobalds, I merely reviewed them. You will need to contact them directly for storage enquiries.

Hi Brian,

Good to hear. I've not had a chance to visit since it changed hands. It was always in a beautiful part of Wales but just needed more attention to detail.

Sounds like things have improved. Now only if Wales can get rid of that daft 20 MPH law more people might start visiting!

Cae Du is now under new management as of 1stMarch 2024, we stayed there in our motorhome in May for a few days. The site and facilities have improved immensely including WiFi.
The staff are incredible and obviously care about their work.
Entry on to site is through a ANPR Camera operated barrier next to reception and exit through a floor mounted sensor barrier. Site was quiet & peaceful and also has a new Picnic Area.
We will definately be returning and would recommend this campsite based on our experience.

Hi Aidan,

I've approved the comment so that others can see it and respond if they can help. I have heard of people who had similar Hymer models from this era who asked Hymer Germany who kindly send them an English manual as a PDF. Not sure if that was common policy but could be worth asking.

My Hymer came with an Engligh manual (photocopied) I seem to remember. I suspect the seller arranged this. He was a Hymer specialist and he might be able to help. His website is:

Hi. Great posts, thanks Gary and all! I am about to buy a 1997 Hymer B564 loaded wirh extras (lithium battery pack, solar panel, bike lift at rear, etc) and would really like to get a copy of an English user manual. Would anyone be able to send me one via email? Would very much appreciate it. Best regards, Aidan Mills

Hey Gary,

Really enjoying your articles. My wife and two kids and I will be in our motorhome crossing Japan starting next week. I am also struggling to find parking near the sights Kanazawa. After booking your hotel, would you say this was likely the best solution for seeing the area? Leaning towards that option ourselves.

Stayed here on many Occasions, we, find it peaceful and tranquil, the Canal is great for fishing with picnic benches in the basin if you want to sit and enjoy the river canal setting.
The site has elec and Water access, hard and grass pitches.
Typical 5 van site which we love if you have your own facilities on board like shower /toilet.
There is a waste tank to empty toilet.
Lincoln and Water ski Park are very close by.
Saxilby is a very pretty Village with two pubs and shops and takeaways.
