I will wait for a localised Traditional Chinese language version that will be released for Hong Kong and Taiwan in May. Not only will I be able to read it just fine, apparently the voices will be kept in Japanese as well!

Well, I still have time until then; me and my sister should plan to buy a PS3 Slim soon or later, or at least sometime this year I think.

Ack, I still have to finish FFXII though. Wish they would have the so-called “International version” for that (and FFX-2) similar to the FFX one where it’ll be English text, but they’ve reverted back to Japanese text with English dub instead (I play the NTSC-J version btw).

Well now, I hope you’re enjoying this game, because mine hasn’t arrived yet. :)

The drama shown from the trailers have me interested in this. I do like a game with good drama, and it’s important for their voice actors to play their parts well.

I’m not sure how much I’m going to like the english voice overs, but they seem “decent” compared to most other terridubs I’ve heard…

Cant either read the whole stuff, but like you I managed to “understand” globally what they say, want and are aiming for. Thanks animes for that ^^;;

Yeah I know what you mean. Had real trouble with Lymle with English version of Star Ocean 4 (xbox360) for kindda same reasons. Some characters can NOT be dubbed in other language than Japanese without loosing all their charm I think ^^;;

wow, you got ur copy too? I started playing already! Limited Edition one. Yeah, the voices are well .. sigh, i cannot read Japanese completely yet and cannot speak Japanese, but i can understand a bit of verbal Japanese if directed towards me!

I did, after playing for about 7 hours I can say I only have problems with Vanille. Although that has more to do with her being the genki cutsy type character that doesn’t really work in English in my opinion.
