A while back, I did buy myself a spiffy stay-wet palette, but I rarely use it. The thing is massive (like the size of my torso), and I already tote around quite a bit. I reuse the same paper plate until the bottom wears out, and my colors are simple enough, that I can mix them and match without a problem. Do you ever need to save your paint colors for more than a day? Recently learned a trick that if you use a palette pan, line it with wet paper towels then a sheet of marker paper on top of the paper towels, the paints don't dry out as fast.
