Hi Ray,

Oh, ho ho, there ARE sparkles in there! Well, tiny iridescent flecks if you really want to get to it. I really liked my blush color, so I mixed it with clear gesso and dabbed it on there.

Thanks for dropping us a line!

Peace,
Ninja

Hi Jenni,

Thanks so much for your kind words and tips!! It's always nice to hear from you. ^__^

A while back, I did buy myself a spiffy stay-wet palette, but I rarely use it. The thing is massive (like the size of my torso), and I already tote around quite a bit. I reuse the same paper plate until the bottom wears out, and my colors are simple enough, that I can mix them and match without a problem. I'm a nomadic painter; I tend to set up in other people's kitchens/dining rooms. When I do digital work, I hang out in cafes.

Thanks for visiting and have a lovely weekend (and Independence day if you're in the States)!

Cheers,
Ninja

Looking good Ninja, can't wait to see the finished piece. Do you ever need to save your paint colors for more than a day? Recently learned a trick that if you use a palette pan, line it with wet paper towels then a sheet of marker paper on top of the paper towels, the paints don't dry out as fast. Just thought I'd share. Commenting up a storm today... ;)
