Why does Organization monkey appear to be wearing a gas mask?
And, is that a gas cloud that appears over his head?

Why does the researcher look like a member of the Nazi Youth League? (if not Hitler)
Perhaps, just because he probably orders a graduate student to come to the library to use the print subscription for him.

Get out the crayons.
Not everything should be so black and white.
