Nick: I did do some research. But since I was doing a quick review of all 10 teams from the conference I’m bound to make a mistake or two.

TDucks: Interesting about King and McCain. I had heard that about King, but not McCain, but it’s interesting to hear. I had also hear some talk about King’s knee being an issue as well. Perhaps couple that with his academics and it would make perfect sense for schools to want to pull their offer.

Also, this is just rumor and speculation flying around….but word on the street is that King and McCain “selected” another school because they had their scholarship offers pulled by Oregon because of eligibility concerns. Will be interesting to see if they (especially McCain who apparently has more issues) actually qualify academically at a university with the higher standards of Cal.

“Curtis is an offensive player,” Kelly said. “He’s a dynamic player with the ball in his hands. Curtis White is a tight end.

“I’m the head coach; he ain’t going to defense.”
