I think all these people talking smack about phillips doing stuff to keep their sons out of trouble are idiots! First this hasnt been proven. Also, if you were him you would try to help your kid out!
I know scotty and I guarantee you that he didnt just get away with a slap on the hand. No liscence for a while. Probation. Fees. Community Service. People that commit worse offences get way less than that.
Hes not a bad person hes a kid and kids make mistakes. I happen to think hes a wonderful person despite of what he has done. We all make mistakes. I cant wait untill the truth comes out and Deputy Chief Phillips’ name is cleared.

I was in college back then. Came hme from U of Fla over holiday to work for my old employer–Universal Ambulance of Lake Worth (long gone). We had the medical contract for there. I manned the first aid tent from beginning to end.

Still remember it and seeing the “old” bands.

The thing I most remember was when the participants tore down an outhouse burned the wood to stay warm.

IT WAS FREEZING COLD…..

Oh–two years later Sheriff Heidtman hired me when I got out of college and did a career there.

Happy times……

The concept is nice, and the design is good but the problem is the pricing. The St. Lucie market will not support $ 20.00 cover charges and overpriced drinks and food. To work it would have to be free entry. Then the drinks should be pricey as you would expect in a nightclub, but not the same prices as the Delano because no matter what hype or floodlights you use at the end of the night it is still Port Saint Lucie. The timing to open was also difficult, but the real flaw is the pricing. Didn’t I hear that originally they had 90 employees? What business plan supported that giant number? They didn’t do enough market research and planning.
