interesting. I’ve had this product for 5 years already. I broke one blade but I do have a pack of refills waiting to be used. I used this mainly for circle labels that were too big for the tins I bought. It worked fine. I’ve used it on paper and photos. I even used this on felt (not craft felt, mind you). Maybe you got the defective one? Mine still works like a charm.

Please oh please tell me where you found that double heart stamp that you have shown on those favors!! I’m doing a wedding with that logo and cant seem to find a stamp to match that anywhere! I’ll buy it from you if i have to!!!! thanks, ashley

I realize this is an old post, but I just stumbled across this blog and love it! I wanted to put in my two cents worth regarding Aleene’s tacky glue. The fact that you pour the glue out into a dish probably helps shorten the drying time, as well as make it easier to spread, since such a large surface area is being exposed to air that way.

Spend more on glue sticks…the cheaper ones do not work.
