I am so glad you like the site. This hat calls for more than one needle size, but the only one I seem to have recorded is 4.5mm.

I love this hat. You have some cute stuff on your site. Could you please tell me what size knitting needles this pattern calls for? I’m interested in buying a copy of the pattern, but can’t knot anything too fine.

I started it, but it is now sitting unfinished in a bag somewhere around the apartment. The pattern I started knitting was the 5 Eight-Petal Rose Sweater from Icelandic Knitting Using Rose Patterns by Hélène Magnússon, which I link to in the post. The patterns in the book are lovely, I just lost steam and started other projects. Cheers, Sarah

Did you knit the over-sized sweater from the Icelandic wool? What pattern did you use? It looks like the knitting from a shawl I got from Russia. I have been wanting to replicate it for so long. Please write so I may find the pattern.

I hope to get up the gumption to frog some of my old projects too, but most of the time I just don’t have the guts. I think I feel to connected to the work I have done on the project already.
