Hi,

I'm a beginner knitter and have made one hat and now I'm obsessed with other easy patterns! LOL

I love your hat, materials, the colors and the fact that I can knit it on straight needles because dpns and circulars scare me already! LOL

Your hat is a beauty! Thank you so much!

My girlfriend does rug hooking and is always showing me her collection of wool yarns. At first I was only politely interested, but find it fascinating now.
Pretty designs you have there, btw.

You're right about the same stitch having different names in different places, the American and the English are not the same. sc=dc, dc=treble, and treble =double treble respectively. I use both patterns and it's very easy to get confused, then I have a panic attack thinking I've been doing the wrong one!

"When I was a child I always wanted asymmetrical things. I remember my mother explaining to me that one braid and one ponytail was not what people do...." March to you own drummer, Sarah. It could just be that you're a bit (or quite a bit) ahead of the rest of the world. Nothing wrong with that. I've been doing it for years!
