qmail-queue should be -rws–x–x
It might not be your only problem but you should try to fix this one for now.
I’m guessing you’re getting that error message in the smtp session.
you should try to trace it ( the qmail-smtpd process ) with strace , you might get some ideas about where the problem might be

Hi Mihai,
I followed all your steps to setup DKIM with libdkim-patched.
But i am getting error while sending mail.

“Transaction failed
Server replied: 554 mail server permanently rejected message (#5.3.0)”

and the mails which were in queue before returned undelivered by mentioning

“Unable to run qmail-remote.”
-rwxr-xr-x 1 qmailq qmail 554 Jul 5 08:25 qmail-queue
-rwx–x–x 1 qmailq qmail 586 Jul 5 04:49 qmail-remote

Ah OK. I really regret changing over to 2.8 w/o doing my homework first….I would have waited and saved myself a few issues with several plugins and interface problems.

try the .tar.gz file but this only workd for wp 2.3 . I’m working on a version that will work on 2.7 and probably 2.8

phpmyadmin can export the database in two ways: the first will actually show the sql statements in a textarea on the export page.
The second will export it as a file ( if you check the “save as file” option at the bottom of the export page ) . If this works after you click the “Go” button at the end of the export page you should see a standard file download dialog so you can chose where to save the exported file.

But what are you supposed to do when the hosting compagny does not give you access to ssh? I only have the phpmyadmin graphical user interface which opens in a browser window, and when I do “export” it neither tells me whether the operation was successful or not nor how to retrieve the export file .

The reason I did it my way is because I also wanted to restart the dhcp server and bind whenever this interface was active.

this is great… as one of the co-founders of myc4, it is truly satisfying to experience how you “grasb the moment” and make tools to help spreading the word and do not wait until we have made an api…. cheers all!!
