Hey! This was EXTREMELY helpful. 1 addition: I had to modify the ./configure to
./configure –prefix=/home/ckeswani/git CFLAGS=”${CFLAGS} `pkg-config –static –libs libcurl`”
to resolve a
Unable to find remote helper for ‘https’
error I was getting when trying to clone or push to https hosts.

Just fixed the 403! I’ve been playing around with my .htaccess files for the past week, and forgot about the wp-content/uploads folder.

OpenID login should be enabled already… is it not working for you?

(Edit: Looks like the OpenID icon wasn’t showing on the first ‘page’ of the Gigya plugin’s box on wp-login.php. I’ve managed to configure this to resize them. They should be easier to see now!)

Also, you should enable OpenID logins too.

Yeah, the universe probably will asplode… I’m still amazed that I got it all working in one night without getting sidetracked.
