Yes, this was excellent. I have been an amateur photographer for quite some time now and I really believe that if we continue to develop new technologies such as this to help with our photography, that we may one day truly be able to capture the essence of the moment! It's amazing to see how much technology can assist our every day lives.

I only got an iPhone recently basically because I wanted to jump into the bandwagon of people updating their Facebook status messages via iPhone. :P I never thought that this would be such a smart, entertaining and thus worthwhile investment.

Night photography gives a great artistic twist on the lights. Light exposures indeed look good if there are different lights on a certain area with unpredicted movements. It is just amazing that these accidental shots can become a piece of art.

I really admire people who still appreciate the beauty of the old ways, such as in photography for example. A lot of people are now fond of the DLSRs and just do the final touches in photoshop. But the use of films really needs the skill and expertise to get that perfect capture. Really informative post. Looking forward for more of these.

I was amazed with the shoreline of Saltburn. I never saw any beach where water recedes that far from the shoreline. It's really tempting to walk through the coastline and pick up some interesting sea creatures...

For heavens sake guys, David Bailey helped create the swinging sixties so you can't expect anything but "testosterone-laden behavior" oozing unrestrained from his pores. Times have changed though. The fact is that in the 2010's to cross the line from bad attitude to something seriously more is out of question in most working environments: not unless a man is prepared to end up in court or unemployed. Cannot think Northern Universities and photographers are an exception to this climate.

This post just shows that good, well written information is going to be useful and will be consumed over a long period of time.

I've been spending my time lately learning more about film and tinkering with my own photography to get away from digital a bit.

I can honestly say that I learned more from this one article than any other single entry I've found on the web.

And it's got me that much more interested in spending more time working with slide film
