Well written my brother, and I maintain you have made a personal opinion given your current base of information and knowledge of the subject matter. The fact remains that the new pope, was not elected from outside the college of cardinals that the canon law stipulated as the potential successors of the pope. The law has to be followed. In the appointment of the bishop of Ahiara, every reasonable person has been asking questions namely: who appoints or nominates the candidate; Which law/s was used to back up the appointment; what are the criteria for appointing this particulr individual; how made candidates where considered and what was the grade and approval mark???? Now we know that humans appoint the bishops and for fairness and peace the civil rules that guide the institution must be followed. Sentiments should never be entertained.
