I am a single mother of a 6 year old and have a home financed through USDA Rural Development, this loan increases yearly based on my income and is now over $1000.00 a month just for my house payment only. Where would you go and be able to live on your present income? You may be able to charge someone 400.00 or 500.00 a month to rent a room. That depends on where you live. If you decide to foreclose, how much money will you have to put out in your next place? If you go and rent a room with someone else. how much will they charge you and how often will they go up on your rent? I can only imagine how you must be feeling on the inside. think about this through and through though. I'm almost certain you will be able to get a roommate through word of mouth. Ask around to some of your buddies and even at church. Someone will be more than happy to rent a room. You just have to be willing to open up your home and allow them some previledge.
