If you're referring to bar's starting position on the floor - that is defined by the diameter of the approved weight plate, which is 450 mm. 		<description>Dave Waddington is my second cousin. I remember watching him at a competition when I was only 11 yrs. old. I am proud to say that he is my family, and I am glad to see so many articles on here of him and his competitors and predecessors. I thank you for all of the information you have put out for those who would like to go for this lifestyle. I don't ever get to speak to my cousin now but we both live different lives. He is much older than I am. Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks for information you have provided.
