Hmmm.. apparently Bobo is upset that the rich have to pay their fair share of taxes. Being rich comes with that responsibility. The poor and middle class people wish they had that problem of making so much money that they have to pay higher taxes. You poor rich people. Bobo, why don't you tell us what it's really about? Do you think the rich should run the country? Is that what the constitution says? Tell us how the poor and middle class can have freedom, liberty and equality if the rich control the government, which is the main goal of the Republican party, to give the rich total control of our government and the first step is to kill all the social programs that help the poor and middle class and make government smaller so that the rich can pay less taxes.

Hmmm..apparently, Bob there is blinded by his party rather than worried about the freedom, liberty, and success of America. Sorry for the delayed response to your question.

Given the area I was in, there were only about 500 people - but - considering the small population - that was a pretty good turnout. We're expecting to double that on July 4. More people are waking up to the truth about this administration's agenda.

Bob sees this as class warfare and only about taxes. Perhaps he needs to attend one of these teaparties to understand what they are really about rather than listening to the MSM talking points.

How do you measure success? By the number of people who attended? or by the affect it had on the majority of the people to feel sorry for all the the rich people who have to pay more taxes? Because if it's the latter, than it failed, because us middle class and poor people couldn't care less if the rich have to pay more taxes. Way To Go Obama!!!

I travel to Tampa quite often and happened to be in town on April 15th. I stopped by to see what the crowd looked like, and quickly got caught up in the excitement.

How did your Tea Party go?

Interesting. Just out of curiosity - are you a Tampa area blogger as well? I attended the New Port Richey and Port Richey Tea Parties myself.

I used to work in downtown Tampa at the BoA building and AmSouth building.

If the U.S. had chosen to be a moral people, and leaving Iraqi oil alone, and following Al Gore, decided to develop the South Western deserts, with the technology of the times - solar/thermal-molten sodium - electricity installations, for the same amount of money as that war cost, ($650 Billion), today, we would be tapping into the largest, renewable, sustainable, energy source the world has ever known. It would have paid every energy bill in the U.S.A. for maintenance fees only - FOREVER! It would be equivalent to an oil field that can NEVER run dry! Low cost electric power, and storeable hydrogen gasoline replacement from the electricity, for all!
After the millions of murders, and $650 billions of dollars, borrowed from our children’s futures and pissed away, with thousands of our own and others maimed and disfigured for life, millions of families utterly destroyed, ours and theirs, we are no closer to Iraqi oil production than the Iraqis are!
The next time you hear a blithering idiot spoiled brat, drunken, drug addicted, sociopath, rich Arabic saber dancing daddie’s boy oilman, stand at a microphone and threaten YOUR safety with someone ELSE’S weapons, remember what you lost America, remember, and weep! (also see http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?id=a-solar-grand-plan)
