This is my husband’s and sons’ wardrobe strategy, except they have no accessories

I started out really skeptical and ready to post something playfully flaming, but I actually kind of like the idea. I LOVE to shop, but I tend to buy the same types of clothes and wear my favorites a lot. I like the idea of scaling down to the things I really love and using jewelry and accessories to change it up. I wonder if people would really not notice?

My sense of humor never kicked in on this one, even though I could hear people laughing in the audience. This is very serious. What our eyes see and our ears hear affects our thinking. Garbage in, garbage out is what happens when we read or listen to ungodly things. Satan has declared all out war on our youth. Parents cannot be too vigilant in protecting them .

You start by giving yourself a break. Then you eat the elephant one bite at a time. Get the kids involved. Do 10 minute clutter pick UPS. Set the timer and just have everyone pitch in to pickup (and put away) everything they can in 10 minutes. Then you replace high wattage bulbs for lower lighting or if its been a really tough week; candles. If you can’t see the dust then its not really there.

Make extra food on the weekend, brown the beef, debone the chicken, chop the veggies…much easier to cook if prep time is at a minimum. Also dig out the crockpot.

Laundry started before you leave in the morning. Put in dryer when you get home. Another load started. Should be able to get two loads a day.

Then some days, you just got to say, forget it. Hug and cuddle with your kids. Make sandwiches and have a picnic in the backyard.

Girl I saw him when I came by to see you…he looked so funny holding a little white kitten but you know what…..he loved that kitten right on up….and I thought …wow….what a cool dude.
