I have hosted with them for almost 4 years now and have always had issues with their services. Their tech support is less than helpful, and their customer care is garbage. They constantly lie about their firm size and ratings. But now, they have hacked one of my many domains www.skysfestivals.com, pretending to be a hacker from Saudi Arabia. They hold the domain for ransom and ask you to pay to get the domain cleared of their malicious script. We did not pay the so called hackers. Then GISOL shuts down your account saying that it has been compromised by "hijackers". At this point, GISOL says that we need to pay another $400 to clean the site out, or pay $898 to create a new account because the old one has been compromised. They do not let you finish the term of your original contract!! Luckily I have a great tech guy who knows his stuff. He tracked down other sites that GISOL has hacked as well and we will be contacting them to see what GISOL has charged them. We have logs, the actual malicious script and tons of other info in GISOL. If this class action isn't the way to go, we will be pursuing this ourselves. This is not the first issue we have had with them either. If your site has been hacked or hijacked, do not pay the ransom, GISOL will shut you down and ask for more money too!! This is quite the scam by GISOL this time.
