I love this! I just love when I find things like that. I remember when the "contemporary worship" debate was all heated up among baptist. When the old people wanted hymns and the young people wanted praise music. And it was not until my heart was changed that I realized the value in both. Because if we are singing memorized words in countless repititions then how are we truly worshipping. Once my heart focussed every word on the Worship of him is when I started seeing the depth and meat of hymns and often times the shallow weakness of praise songs. I love when find the simple things that I have overlooked and can see a powerful thing in them. I needed this today. I know it is an old post but it was for me. Thanks for sharing.

Tony Miano, the author of The Lawman Chronicles and the Director of the Ambassador's Alliance, gave a similar idea to me. Arrange with a friend to make a cell phone call and start discussing the Gospel with that friend. People are voyeuristic by nature and like to listen in to phone conversations. This can be used anywhere that you would normally get kicked out of for "street-preaching!!"

Allen, Thanks for keeping us updated. We are praying that God's Word will be proclaimed all over Surabaya. "..preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke and exhort with complete patience and teaching." 2 Tim. 4:2

But if I say, "I will not mention Him
or speak any more His name,"
His word is in my heart like a fire,
a fire shut up in my bones.
I am weary of holding it in;
indeed, I cannot.
          Jeremiah 20:9
May you speak His glorious name with power from on high! Tell of His wondrous glories!!

I am blessed to have the opportunity to share this experience with all of you through prayer! Isn't it a feeling of freedom to merely obey a calling and know that God will do all the work. I pray that God will indeed strengthen you all physically and spiritually that you may best be used as his vessel.

Thank you for giving us the times of the services! It will be a rich experience indeed to be able to pray for you all while the service is actually taking place. Multi global points, glorifying the King of Kings at the same time......gooood stuff!

It's fun to remember that our Shepherd knows His sheep and calls them by name... who knows who He may be calling through you... through a dinner with a brother, reveling in our wonderful Savior?!? How EXCITING! Tell Joseph and Josh that we said "Hi!" We are so happy to have the privilege to pray for you all!

(Isaiah 60)

Arise, O God, and shine
In all Thy saving might,
And prosper each design
To spread Thy glorious light;
Let healing streams of mercy flow
That all the earth Thy truth may know.

Bring distant nations near
To sing Thy glorious praise;
Let every people hear
And learn Thy holy ways.
Reign, mighty God, assert Thy cause
And govern by Thy righteous laws.

Put forth Thy glorious power
That Gentiles all may see
And earth present her store
In converts born to Thee.
God, our own God, His Church will bless
And fill the world with righteousness.

To God, the only Wise,
The one immortal King,
Let hallelujahs rise
From every living thing;
Let all that breathe, on every coast
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We are praying, brother! Thanks for all of the updates!

Our God is so very big, I have a feeling that with an absent voice, Charles' LIFE and the outpouring of his HEART will be an unbelievably LOUD and BOOMING testimony of God's faithfulness! Isn't it great that our God isn't in any way hindered by our vocal chords!?! I think of Mr. Wallace! He may not be able to shout the glories of our God from the mountaintops, but his every breath is a roaring testimony to everyone of God's power and mercy and gentleness!
