The kids' clothes are pretty special, no wonder the grown ups want them! And we are flattered that the term Garanimals has become so embedded in the culture.

Good read, Sandi! I went through the exact same thing! I was so nervous to get readers because I thought they'd make me feel even older than I felt. But I browsed around and actually found some pretty cute styles of readers, and eventually settled on a pair of lightweight rimless readers. Now I have a few pairs that I strategically place around, too!

Okay, so I'm guessing that the people in the photo are wearing everything they're not supposed to be? I crosschecked as I read, and it looks to be so.

Cute, funny article. Someday, if I have the opportunity to walk the Hawaiian beaches with the Norwegian Artist, I will deck us out in tasteful, non-matching Hawaiian ware -- with a flowing skirt for me and handsome shorts for him -- and we'll fit right in!

I too have an unusual maiden name , Breneol. It is French and only a few with this name in North America.
During a class in college my Biology professor could not get my name right. Finally one of my class mates chimed in " it is Breneol, sounds like Centennial"! The class had a good laugh and from that day on I became Miss Centennial to my professor !
