How was that tonight?
Rain & Saints supporters notwithstanding,
we held onto the pill
and thumped em up the centre.
but letting Sts win the second half was regrettable.
Morris, Tahpou, halfback's defence and Jeremy's ardour were the crux.
Albert did alright & Gal only attempted an offload in last 5 minutes.
Whoever thumped Weymann did us a big favour.

Hey Blog Boy,
You guys might go alright next year. With Barrett probably retiring you only need two recruits a 5/8 and a Centre. I'd suggest you try and get Inglis and Finch out of the Storm firesale which surely is going to come sometime. Your not developing Ferguson well enough, he needs to be in the Centres and put Covell on the wing. Pomeroy is just not worth persisting with. Also Tautai is a much better off the bench 2nd rower than a starting Centre dude.
Go the mighty Titans!!

Cronulla 14 lost to Penrith 34 (16/5/2010
The stats from the weekend game against the Panthers below. Just looking at the Stats the Sharks looked pretty good. The stats that looked bad for the Sharkies was the number of the tackles they had to make and the final score.

I think they must be feeling a lack of confidence in attack and defence. Penrith missed more tackes and made less off loads.

The following are not 1st grade standard. Kelly, Pomeroy, Tautai, Barrett (should be at best a lock), Millington, Morris, Cordoba, Vave, I could go on and talk about fringe first graders as well. I don't think the Cronulla Sharks will exist next season. Get out of the Shire and look at relocating to another regional area or city that is vibrant and is attractive to players and fans. Hopeless and shameful rugby league team.

I think the club has a hide to continualy ask supporters for money (sponsorship) and patronage when the team at best is reserve grade quality.
What do they expect - I feel very sorry for standout players such as Anthony Topou and Paul Gallen who are trying to lift the team but they are reserve grade quality.

Don't get me wrong, each player in the sharks squad is trying their guts out - but its not their fault they have not got first grade ability.

Whoever is responsible for recruitment needs to not only be sacked but sued in a court of law.

I can't see myself and my young bloke going to a game until the roster improves - how is it possible we are spending our cap.

When are you going to drop Slovell and Droperoy? Barrett too is terrible. He would only be usful these days as a blind side lock forward. Disgraceful Cronulla.
