I agree with the commenter who mentioned having your thyroid checked. I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism - I was ALWAYS tired, felt sore and fatigued and suffered from so many aches and pains. As soon as I went on the synthroid, I immediately got so much more energy. Mind you, I am still a work in progress - it wasn't a magic pill, or anything - but it did give me a lot of energy.

Also, I have been found to be gluten intolerant (although haven't landed a definitive celiac disease diagnosis yet) and have been gluten free for a while now. I know that you already eat a very healthful diet, but have you considered getting yourself tested for celiac? There are many symptoms that go along with celiac aside from stomach issues, and fibromyalgia is a diagnosis many people get before finding out that they have celiac or a general gluten intolerance. Not sure about Epstein Barr, though - I am not sure what that is. However, if you suffer any skin rashes/hives/urticaria; immune system issues; or have any major autoimmune disorders like thyroid disease, diabetes, lupus, etc., your odds of having celiac skyrocket.

Anyway, just something to look into. Since I started a gluten-free diet, my energy has increased even more!!

Good luck in finding out what is making you so tired!

You have fibro dear. You don't sleep properly with fibro; there is no rested feeling in the morning... I have it too. Vitamin D and sublingual B supplement help me a bit. But true energy? Never. Likely never again.
I am so sorry. I can barely muddle through life and I don't have a child.

I am tired all the time. Would love a couple weeks to turn off the alarm, sleep when I want, and see what my body would do.

I just keep willing it not to be age. I want to believe it can turn around and return to normal being not tired instead of the other way around.

I know it sounds crazy, but I cut out all gluten and processed sugar and suddenly had all this energy 3-5 days later! It was as if I hadn't gotten a good nights sleep in weeks and suddenly slept 12 hours. Amazes me to this day.
