		<description>I am currently studying Media and Video Game Design at Staffordshire Ubiversity, and i have chosen for my final major project to design my own videogame concentrating mostly on the concept artwork and character design aspect.
As part of this unit i have to research into the games industry, looking at how different companies approach the same design areas that i myself am focusing on fo my project. I will turn my findings into a report that i not only have to present in a folder with my finished project, but also as a presentation to everyone else studying Games Design at Staffordshire University.

If you can find the time to answer any of the following questions i would greatly apreciate it;

•	At the start of a new project, after you reciev the briefing, where do you look in terms of research? What different areas of art and design influence your initial sketches and your particular style of working?
•	What types of media do you favour when developing your concept artwork? and does your preffered choice affect the transfer from the initial concept to the the finished appearance of the game?
•	Do you find that your original designs make it to the finished game? Or do characters and other aspects not make the cut, due to changes by the Developers?
•	If you have worked on more than one genre of game, do you find it difficult to create a different look and feel to a new project that doesnt look too similiar to a previous one?

I understand that you are most likely busy at the moment, so any feedback to these questions would contribute to my primary reseacrh and be greatly apreciated

Yours sincerely,
