Comments for Soldiers' Angels of Alabama

Soldiers' Angels of Alabama (a.k.a. 'Bama Angels') is a group of volunteers -- military and civilian -- living in Alabama. We are supported by the Soldiers' Angels Foundation and many private donors. It is our mission to provide aid and support to all our brave men and women serving in the United States Armed Forces in the War on Terror. We support Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airman serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, as well as those forward deployed throughout the world defending and protecting the freedoms we cherish.

I think it is great not to say about time these other resturants jump on board for our Vets. But Golden Coral has been doing this for years and why did it take so long for the others to jump on the band wagon?

I would like to thank you all for the cards that my mother has recieved from your organization in the death of my cousin Sgt David Gordon. Your cards, from all around the states, have really touched her and make her feel that there are others that care.

We have been a Military family for years. My dad, husband, and both of my boys have served in the military. I believe that your thoughtfulness in sending out your thoughts and prayers are a healing for my mother. She lost her nephew at a time while she is worrying about her own, 20 year old, grandson. Do add my son to your list of prayers for a safe return. He is serving in the Marines and in Afghanistan. He informed us that he was going into a danger zone, where we don't know, but I do know that the family doesn't need another soldier to be laid to rest in this family. We do know that this is a cause worth fighting for, because we live it every day...freedom.

David fly with the Angels!! We love you and you will be missed.

I just want everyone to know that although Will and his dad are now united and God has definately gained a true angel, we have lost a great man. I have been fortunate to watch this young man turn from a boy to a hero over many years as he was a very important member of our family and a best friend and brother of my daughter Jessica. Although they will not be able to do all the things they planned together, I know he is in heaven watching over her making sure that all her dreams and promises come true. Will you will always be missed and a large part of our hearts.
