					<description><![CDATA[As of December, 2019, the Multilingual Folk Tale Database has removed all content from its site. This site curated folktales from around the world and was used by many institutions, professionals and amateurs for research and as a source of world folktales. It was a key source for folklorists to access ATU Tale Types, but it curated many tales that had yet to be indexed by the ATU Index. Hopefully, the MFTD is down only temporarily. The loss of its contents would set back folklore study.]]></description>
