In my opinion, none of the words used by Chuck crossed the line. They weren’t swearing. If you’re talking about balls, as Chuck did, we understand it is a colloquialism about having courage, strength, energy; not testicles. And in my view, if you’re talking to men, it’s ok to mention balls, testicles, and prostrate exams. That’s just male realities, and you might as well laugh about the realities of being male rather than get upset and moan about them.

Remember, Paul said “I wish that the people who are upsetting you would go all the way; let them go and castrate themselves” (TEV), or “I wish everyone who is upsetting you would not only get circumcised, but would cut off much more!” (CEV). Too crude? Paul wrote it, and God apparently inspired it, as it is in the Bible.

The other point I would make is “Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.” (Romans 14:4)

So I admit Chuck is skating near the edge, but he hasn’t yet offended me. Nevertheless, I applaud the desires of many to be pure in thought and speech, to please the Lord. I am sure God will say “Well done” when you meet Him.

We do well to remember another comment by Paul: “But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. (Eph. 5:1-4)

Yours seem even more so. It’s none of your business.

Highly unlikely there is enough work for either a man or woman to do at home without kids or a homestead.

Not right & should not be, husband not being a husband

I have been in a similar situation as her husband chose drugs as his wife, if the unbeliever departs you are no longer bound, he didn’t work, didn’t help with $, I was always anxious, he would bust the windows out of my car, it was not stable for my daughter, we would sometimes sleep in my car when he was acting up!! I had to get out for my own sanity, and it was hard!!! Didn’t make much $, had to work more than 1 job, previously was renting from his parents with cheaper rent. Didn’t know if he would try to find me & harass me. Alot of fear went with it. He departed as a husband, if an unbeliever departs let him depart you are no longer bound!!!!
