Social opprobrium has its limits. It hasn’t always been that racists were publicly shamed. And in today’s world, consider, say, which of the following statements would draw ‘social opprobrium’:

‘Whites should all be arrested and locked in cages’
‘Drug users should all be arrested and locked in cages’
‘Prostitutes should all be arrested and locked in cages’

Most would consider saying the first abhorrent, but saying the latter may well garner you praise in most circles.

Not that I think people should be arrested for just saying things like that, but I have my doubts that consigning moral judgment to ‘the masses’ is of any use, just because most people today have somehow managed to figure out that ‘racism is bad’ — a broken clock might occasionally be right, but it’s not to be relied upon for the time.

It’s not out yet. That’s why you’re not finding out on Samfirmware. And you won’t find it here – use Checkfus downloader or Kies to get it – one it’s out.

Can I check this site to find out when the MTN firmware is out?

Or is there another way. If the Firmware comes out and I can not falsh with Kies, due to upgrade I did as mentioned above, where will I be able to find the MNT Firmware file to download?

I am having a hard time to get it right with Samfirmware. I would really appreciate if some one will post a link to the MTN Firmware file.

The Vodacom and “open” ones on CheckFus are 4.0.3 – still waiting to see what MTN release, but I’d guess it will certainly be the same version – XWLP7 (4.0.3). ICS isn’t much different from GB, no.

Is South Africa Getting ICS 4.0.0 or 4.0.3 or 4.0.4?

Some one whom has to the Official Vodacom Firmware can you please confirm?

I must say this ICS has been a storm in teacup if you ask me. Its not much diffrent that GB. Cant wait for my warrenty to lapse so that i can root this stupid Toutchwiz.
