We went to Disneyland Florida and to be honest we weren’t that impressed and neither were the kids. We went in 2009. It was a lot of queueing for just going on a ride and we aren’t bothered about rides lol! We ended up leaving the others in the party and exploring local towns and going fishing

Yes! I love listening to the radio and in fact the worst bit about the house sit is that the telly is all british and I haven’t managed to find a radio either. I’d have loved to be able to watch and listen while at home as well. It’s on in the van though

Interesting! Yes you just can’t get that same experience. Best option for learning languages at home is still trying to listen to the radio I think, maybe telly too. When a teacher speaks to you they tend to go so slowly compared with real spoken language and then it sounds so different. I was never great at speaking it and listening because of that too. Great that the kids have used some though, good for confidence and less stressed approach to languages generally.
