To all the peeps who have quoted politicians stating how they felt about the bible, separation of church & state, the founding of the country NOT being christian. Well, there are people who are going to be against Obama no matter what you say to them, it’s like beating a dead horse! Doesn’t do a thing! I realize that you all probably already know this, I’m just stating it. I do not understand this mentality except that it might be referred to as, “ignorant”. I think it might be taking the easy way out actually. Instead of having to think logically, and reasonably, you can lay it all on God’s shoulder’s and have FAITH that things will work out. And of course they always do, if it’s not what you wanted, you say, “Well, it was God’s Will”. Not the sharpest tools in the shed….

It is because I prayed for this filthy sodomite festival to be canceled. Good news I also asked the Lord to let this storm die and it just got downgraded to Cat 3. This evil nation needs to repent and in no way do I want New Orleans hit again. One katrina per lifetime is my motto. God may use this storm to take on the oil rigs and refineries to makes us all pay for America’s tolerance of homos(gay marriage) murder(abortion) ect. God will not be mocked America. You have sinned away your day of grace. I am out of the closet straight guy and proclaim I believe in Jesus Christ. Why can’t you Christian phobes accept me for the way I am? Don’t be a Christianphobe, be a Godphobe. Fear God with fear and trembling.

So I called the 700 Club to confess my sin – I’m voting for Obama. And you know what? They offered to pray with me. Yep. I’ve got to give credit to the CSR – she tried to say that she didn’t think that was a sin. I asked her, “then why would Pat Robertson say such bad things about him, and ask us to pray that the acceptance speech get rained out?” She said, “oh yeah, he did say something like that…he is pretty conservative.”

It’s so scary that there are people in the world like Pat Robertson and even scarier that people follow this moron. Teaching people that voting for Obama is a sin?! WTF is wrong with you people?

I think there’s a certain irony that Focus on the Family prays for rain on the DNC Convention then God delivers hurricanes/tropical storms. First Hurricane Fay, dumping record rainfalls in excess of 30″ on the Bible belt. Now Hurricane Gustav, in what could be the coup de grace Category 3 on New Orleans, on Monday the first day of the Republicans Convention.

There is absolutely nothing that John Mccain hasn’t changed his mind about. As he would say, My friends you must speak with friends, relatives and to the public at large. If there was ever a year where so much was at stake in our country it is 2008. Obama needs to opportunity to prove he can be the leader of the free world. No matter how many seats democrats control in the house and senate, the gridlock will only continue with John Mccain.

Mccain is out for the very rich, and wouldn’t be where he is if he had not married that bimbo from a beer family. Is Cindi Mccain even human? How many people can relate to her? Mccain marries a younger woman for her money, and than runs for congress. How is that an example of the American Dream? Michelle Obama is everything we could ever want in a first lady, and one who will reach out to men, woman and children of all races and income levels. She truly cares about our country, and I think will try to reach out to those who don’t want her to be first lady.

To quote a song from the Rock Band Rush…. a line goes “If the future’s looking dark We’re the ones who have to shine If there’s no one in control We’re the ones who draw the line Though we live in trying times We’re the ones who have to try Though we know that time has wings We’re the ones who have to fly”

John Mccain is the greatest Chameleon of our time. I think a great Campaign ad would be to ask Boy George’s Permission to play Karma Chameleon and show for 1 minute all the things Mccain has flip flopped on. It is time for the Democratic Party to get tough, and to fight back. Mccain was considered to be John Kerry’s running mate, and 4 years later he wants to be Mr Ultra Conservative.

Mccain is a tricky guy, and if we don’t let people know just how much of a lier he is he just might get elected. It is not something we can allow.

Wow 40 Obama flip-flops? And you list not a single one? Some people here
believe political attack ads without any critical thought what so ever.

To the 50 year old lady who wants to see a father earn enough to support a family with a stay-at-home mom, that used to be possible before Reagan/Bush/Bush destroyed the middle class. When we had a progressive tax system and (ghasp) Democrats in the White House we got out of the Republican Great Depression, beat the Nazis and had decades of peace and prosperity.

Now we have war-by-choice, record outsourcing, record deficits, and a record gap between the haves and the have-nots in this country. We have much larger government and our rights have been eroded. If you want more of that, vote McCain.

If anyone is about “feeling better” it’s conservatives. All the lapel pins in the world aren’t going to get us out of the recession we’ve been in or solve the housing crisis that McCain’s top adviser got us in.

Obama is the better choice, not because he’s black or he’s “the messiah” or anything like that– it’s because policies make sense and McCiain’s (if you can figure out what they are at a given moment) don’t.

And besides getting shot down and captured, what leadership experience does McCain have over Obama?

Picture an intervention, what will it be like ? will the Russian black sea fleet be sunk and air power used on Russian forces, what if they panic and go nuclear what will happen. Or will it be softer sanctions and blockades what ever happens the Russians will go down swinging unlike Iraq.PS Imagine what happens when russia proliferates to anyone and everyone as payback a nuclear sudan ICBM north Korea etc

neither side has this issue right. anyone in health care with half a brain knows that universal health care won’t work in America. people won’t tolerate it. even people that don’t work and live on welfare or disability feel totally entitled.

bottom line is, with universal health care you are going to need supplemental insurance to get ANYTHING done. many practices aren’t accepting medicaid at all and limiting their medicare patients because reimbursements are so low.

great way to increase costs. great thing to take a political stand on. bad way to help people.
