Mr. Ashutosh, you are totally wrong. India does not have any National Language and Hindi is just one of the official languages just as there are other 14 recognized official languages. Hindi is mostly spoken in majority of the states. Will you as a North Indian ever recognize any of the south Indian languages or Bengali etc. if you had to study it ? Just read article 353 of the Indian constitution and correct yourself.

you are saying that in democracy, the state/republic is led by the will of the majority... which if wrong, would lead the country in a wrong direction.
I think that democracy is definitely not the ultimate regime created. however, it seems that you are missing some crucial details regarding its functionality and lacks. I think one must ask himself first : how is popular will created, and who or what is behind it. It goes like this:
At first, we suppose that the democratic regime is created. the ideas then are predefined, and everything is settled. Now when change in the situation occurs ( and that could be from any reason, national, international, etc...), the system will not be perfectly adapted to the new situation, resulting in an error/problem. it is then the time when new ideas are needed, and that would be the job of the educated citizens (scholars, diplomats, etc...). these people will then form new ideologies to suit the change, and this is when the decision is passed on to the public, as an ideological point of view. and logically, the cleverest most perfectly balanced ideology would finally make it through to the majority, and that, would then constitute the popular will (ideally being the perfect one).
Now democracy is never perfect i think, and will never be, but it suits me well since i believe it is the smartest ideology YET.

As for being governed by a king that for no reason other than status i should bow to and take whatever he would grant me.... I'd rather live in the amazon with a native tribe enjoying spider eggs grilled in banana leaves!!
