Seriously, I can't even tell you guys about all that has happened to me as a direct result of being on the 44s. There's been pleasure and pain, but I've grown through it all and I'll always be grateful for that. Man, what a ride.

I do miss it, but that's because I'm a sentimental fool. It's been time to move on for a good while, now.

This is a good article. Often times, i feel like i carry too much pride as an Asian American man, but at the same time, i've always gotten along with everyone regardless of racial backgrounds and ethnicities. In return, i've built friendships and relationships with diversity. I like the article, but one thing i will say is... regardless of how much pride we have in our own color, we should always remain open and friendly to everyone, regardless of race. I mean, people are people. We are all individuals. Some of us are cool and some of us are ass holes. From what i've seen, if a lot of people can carry conversations freely with people of different colors, how come they don't hang out, chill, eat together and build relationships with one another? I mean... how come whites stick with whites, blacks stick with blacks, asians stick with asians (only) and so on..? We can run all the experiments/surveys we want, but actions speaks louder than words and sometimes, powerlessness = blindness = making a fool out of ourselves. The way i see it... show your pride, love your people, be proud of who you are and where you came from, keep ya guards up. Don't be a fool! but at the same time, don't be ignorant of another's point of view just because she/he's black, white, asian or latino. Peace,
