Hi Katherine,
The article on the Kuppersmith Project was on page 60-69 in the August issue of Better Homes & Gardens magazine. Since Better Homes & Gardens provided all the furnishings for the house, I don’t know who made the rug you inquired about. The resource guide in the back of the August issue lists many of the furnishing, but not those in the family room. Your best bet would be to try contacting the Better Homes &Gardens designers directly at http://www.ihfc.com/contact/

I have the August 2011 and September 2011 copies of Better Home & Gardens magazine, but do not fine the article on the Kuppersmith Project. Is this the wrong magazine? Also, how do you select which questions to answer? I sent an inquiry on 5/1/11, but never received an answer but yet several emails after me got a response. Very disappointing.

The brick we used on the Kuppersmith house were a 162-m Flashed brick made by Glen-Gery Brick. The mortar color used was Clay Pink (type N) made by Lafarge. Both bricks and mortar were obtained from Jenkins Brick & Tile Company.
