The point was that if Gaahl wants to recommend a violent recourse towards those of a differing religious viewpoint than his own, he should consider the fact that he himself is apart of a much maligned & persecuted sexual orientation. So are gay bashers justified in that same rhetoric, if it applies to him? I think not. In fact, I think intolerance – be it of other religions OR of sexual orientations – is just plain ignorance masquerading as a “cause”. Gaahl shouldn’t espouse mindless violence as a solution to his perceived problems anymore than someone ELSE should consider mindless violence against him. Two wrongs do not make a right.
