More than likely the woman was NOT from the Hamptons and was a tourist from outer Slobvania or somesuch. Very indicative of OTHER people from other places.

the site never claims that the acts of rudeness are exclusive to the Hamptons. It’s so sad how many commenters feel the need to bash the site just b/c people are rude everywhere. Fine a better way to spend your time than reading a blog you don’t like.

Oh- actually, no, it was myself and my best friend of the same gender returning from an innocent shopping excursion to Queens. The point of the story was merely to illustrate that they were in fact disturbing our train ride by using illicit language to describe how they had been disturbed. They, for purposes of the story, could have been talking about anything from making out to inconsiderate cell phone usage.
