Interesting comparison. As you said, 9/11 had quite an impact on air travel. But I do think it would help Erie to have a larger/longer runway.
I wish that it would just get finished already.

I use Bausch & Lomb PureVision Toric. I have no problem leaving them in overnight, but I have found that by the fifth or sixth day, I am using eyedrops with more and more frequency, so I take them out, clean them, then soak them overnight, and they are good to go in the morning. If I do this about five times, then throw them out and use a new pair, I should be all set.

What contacts are you wearing? Do be careful with the around the clock thing -- it's feasible, but it can still allow infection.

I use Acuvue Oasys, and I like them, but they tend to go bad quickly.

Rob, I do not understand manufacturing demographics as well as I do real estate, but it is good to see young people such as yourself, focus on the future and not the past. I do not know the answers to all the questions regarding Erie's ability to attract higher paying manufacturing jobs but I do understand that the future is more about new technology and new ways to introduce technology geared more towards "green-energy saving methods" of the future than past manufacturing jobs that have left places like Erie and will never return in the same way that worked in past decades. Erie must look forward to new technology as a way to be competitive in a global economy.
Keep up the fight for new ways of manufacturing competing in this new era and its going to take young people such as yourself to lead the way, the old ways of looking at the same old methods will produce the same old results. With a new outlooks and new technology Erie may be able to utilitze some of its vacant facilities with new upl-to-date technology with more efficient "green" businesses. Hopefully, companies like GE that already have a major investment in Erie and the incentive to invest in expanding its existing facility to take advantage of the critical mass it has already established would branch out to include these uses. From your lips to God's ear!!!

I would disagree with you about the economy...people seem to forget that 2 years ago and for most of the Bush presidency-Post 9/11-the economy was humming right along. Unemployment was low (equal to Clinton) , interest rates were low and the stock market managed to grow and keep growing even after the worst attack on our own soil and fragility of our financial sector.
It wasn't until 2 years ago when that the democratic congress took over and refused to make those hard decisions Obama spoke of yesterday-like putting sanctions on Fannie and Freddie requiring accountability then.
I am NO huge Bush fan but it amazes me how people blame him for EVERYTHING and don't give him credit for his successes. Our country should have imploded after 9/11 but it didn't-it maintained-which in my opinion-is an amazing feat. We also weren't attacked, which in my opinion makes up for a load of other bad decisions.
It must be really painful for people to try to give credit where credit is due. To me, that just speaks volumes to character.
By the way...on a side note-I was humiliated as an American that people were chanting and booing as Bush. People have the right to like or dislike him, but when did our inaugurations turn into sporting events. I really thought our nation was above that...how ignorant. Our society are the ones turning into bumbling idiots.
