Doug,

I’m sure there are muscle/joint vitamins that you can take to help the healing process. However, the best thing you can do right now is move your leg and try to get your range of motion back. Go through the physical therapy classes. Don’t wear any shoes with heels on it. Even dress shoes will affect your stance and range of motion. I had to learn this the hard way. I was using Nike Shox shoes and then switched to flat shoes (Adidas Samba) and my knee felt much better.

The ice machine is mainly for comfort. It’s not a must but it will make your life easier. The burning will go away in a week or so.

just had surgery on tuesday. Are there any foods or vitamins I can take to maybe help speed the healing process up?

And is it bad if I dont have a Ice Machine for my knee even though it is burning right now?

Can the burning cause more damage?

Sorry ur having such a hard time. I had the same surgery, acl & menicus repair pluse a fractured femur and tibia bone. U really sound like a whiner to me and just couldnt help to comment. Try to stop feeling sorry for yourself and be thankful for what u have……wha wha wha.
