I made this yesterday and was wondering if anyone could help. Should the oven temperature be reduced after the first hour? My lamb was burning within 2 hours of cooking. I'm thinking after the first hour it should be reduced to 160 degrees C.

How much is 3 large glasses of water? The 1 litre of water I added wasn't enough and I had to add more.

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Love this recipe! I had a great spinach pie at a local restaurant, and wanted to try making it myself. Philo dough seemed sooo annoying, and it is nothing special, you are layering it to make something similar to puff pastry anyway! I love puff pastry, so I searched for a spinach pie recipe using puff pastry and found this one! It was perfect...I just added more cheese because you can never have too much cheese, pepper, and more seasonings, and it is a hit! I even got my husband to eat spinach so that is wonderful. Thank you!

This looks delicious! Thank you for sharing the recipe. Do you know if it freezes well? I'd like to keep some in my freezer, so I can re-heat it when I don't feel like cooking.

[...] Jon serves the chicken over couscous garnished with lemon slices and fresh chopped parsley. I like to make a xoriatiki (Greek village salad) to go with it. I don’t really use a recipe, but it’s like this one. [...]

Thanks so much for this amazing-sounding recipe. I think I'll make them for the New Year to share with my family. I have one question: How much vanilla do you use? In the video you say to use 2 Tablespoons of vanilla but the recipe reads 2 teaspoons. Thanks for clearing that up. And have a wonderful 2012.

Thank you so much for doing the recipe and video for Chicken with Tomato Sauce (Kotopoulo Kokkinisto in Greek). My late mother in law used to make this for me, it is my favourite Greek dish. If I'd known it was so easy to make I would have made it years ago. What a wonderful recipe that I will make time and time again. Many thanks
