Yeah, I can agree with that. She uses a small degree of tech in her work, but I think she only goes long with that because it is part of her job.

I, on the other hand, feel more threatened by the idea of living without tech.

I think some people make being tech-unsavvy part of their self-image, and feel threatened. This is why a lot of women in the old days didn’t learn how to drive.

Yeah… its just funny to me (weird funny, not ha ha funny) that she is working so hard at refusing technology since my dad was a technophile, and while I’m not always on the leading edge of tech and always up to date, I do have a big interest in it.

I am feeling a lot better after the other night’s cry-fest. That, and some great sex… that’s always a good mood booster!

I know plenty of people who are like that just don’t pay attention or just don’t get it and end up being their go-to-person when they need help. I figure better them than me. Hope you are feeling better though.

Yeah, not too pleasant Mandy. I hate being so irregular, but on the other, being so irregular means I don’t worry about every little thing, because its normal for me. Its just when other factors come in to play I start freaking out in my head.

I was literally talking to my best friend about my worry when it came- had a laugh about that, saying all I needed to do was talk about it and everything would be fine! lol

Yes, its definitely depression. I was diagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder, and social anxiety three years ago. Most of the time I’m okay. Not great, usually a little low, but its nothing like this. I know from experience it will get better, but it is hard to convince myself that everything really will be okay some days.
