]]> Comment on Who do we use for hosting? by Aaron http://tristantom.com/new-web-host/#comment-2567 Aaron Thu, 23 Dec 2010 00:47:02 +0000 http://tristantom.com/?p=543#comment-2567 Going with HostGator was a good choice, I don’t host very many images, but I do recommend that photographers get an Amazon S3 account because it’s much cheaper than hosting, and it takes off a lot of stress from your server allowing your website pages to open up a lot quicker, and your images to load quick no matter in what country you’re in.

You can easily use HostGator + Amazon S3 at the same time, making it cheap and reliable.

I just ran into the same problem, Bluehost told me the max file count I can have is 50k! I previously held Bluehost in a very high regard, and I tried to inquire about more expensive hosting packages but they kept saying they don’t offer any.

Switching to HostGator now thanks to the info you provided. thanks!
