I love the tones that came out of these film shots! I'm heading back to the US for a few weeks soon and plan on getting my father's old Minolta x-700. I love the feel/look that film has and can't wait to try it out in Taiwan.

Great shots - especially that last one. I've never thought to take a shot of a sign and you pulled it off beautifully with those clouds.

Thanks for your comment David. Yes Lalashan is definitely on my list to see next. I'll also look up dongyan shan. I'm going to get my drivers license soon so would be looking forward to driving to new places in near future.

The last time I visited Xiao Wulai was a few years ago before they built the skywalk. Lalashan is also worth a visit. Another nice place in the area is Dongyan Shan.

I am coming to Yangmei with my daughter, Machig age 8. I am teaching English at a local elementary school.

I love your blog and your photos are fantastic!

My daughter and I are coming from a three year stint in Himachal Pradesh. My daughter understands Hindi but she has begged me for a tutor or classes if possible. Do you know of anyone that is teaching Hindi?

Also I want to bring my boyfriend to Taiwan and marry him. He will have his passport in March of 2010. He is from Arunachal Pradesh. We AREN'T married. How do I bring him? Do you know of any way to bring him? My daughter considers him as her 'papa' and I don't want us separated for too long.

I like your blog. I noticed that you're a Java developer and was surprised because I didn't think there were many jobs for English speaking java developers here in Taiwan. Speaking of which, I've recently released my Java website - Cruisy. It's for English speakers living in Taiwan with the overall aim of giving people living in Taiwan a place to read and comment on Taiwan blogs, browse and comment on Taiwan Flickr photos, and catch up on international news.
