Ohh, that one. I didn't even think about that since that's more of a reality/documentary thing and this is fiction. It's not really the same part of TV or in the same world of books. Bones does not use FF to find plot lines. Unlike CSI for example, Bones is loosely based on the life and work of an actual forensic anthropologist (Kathy Reichs). The storylines are all fiction, yes, but they are made up by the writers and the forensic process is checked by Kathy (who BTW works as a producer on the show and is there just to -wikiquote- "keep the science honest"). If they get to far from the truth of how a crime could be solved, she'll tell 'em so and they'll fix it. Because of this, the use of the word "forensic" is in no way a copy-cat thing either since forensic work is what the show is based on, and "forensic files" in this title does make sense, since it's about the cases/episodes they've done. Don't know what the big deal is. *shrug*

The show "Forensic Files" !!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forensic_Files

Although Bones doesn't seem to use FF to find plotlines quite as often as CSI does.

IMHO, considering what the show's about, I'd say it's a pretty fitting title, but I'm curious as to what show you are refering too? :)

Couldn't they come up with another title for this, other than ripping off another TV series?

Desperate Housewives:
* Outstanding Guest Actor In A Comedy Series (Beau Bridges, as Eli Scruggs)
* Outstanding Hairstyling For A Single-Camera Series

Ugh, no more than two? Last season was great! Oh well, Bones only got ONE. And what’s worse… it's their FIRST! What the f*ck took them so long? Geez.
