I wonder how the national debt affects us on the local state level? Sales tax has raised by from 5 % to 6.25% in a rather short amount of time. Hopefully we can find new ways to confront this economic crisis besides raising taxes.

The writing isn't bad here but this review sounds like a simple summary of a mediocre hip-hop show. There's no enticing detail or actual reviewing going on here. The picture painted of the show is bland and step-by-step, and there seems to be no opinion about any of the artists or their performances.

People don't need summaries in regards to reviews, especially in terms of little inside jokes only the crowd could fully get (i.e. coughing Barack's name, or the long monologue about Soulja Boy).

Nothing about this makes me want to read it, nothing draws me in, and nothing certainly says this writing is GREAT. It's okay, but is okay enough?

The only reviewing I actually noticed here was about crowd interaction and energy. The summary of the actions that were each act's apparent energy doesn't FEEL energetic. Shouldn't you be able to feel it? I like to be able to taste what people are writing about, especially when they are opinion pieces or whether I'm deciding whether I ever want to see Talib live again.

I would also choose your pictures more wisely. Choose the best to accentuate the article, keep it simple. There are too many bad and poorly lit shots.

Thanks.

“The Fire Department said there were circuit problems on the second floor,” she said. “They went through everything in my room and determined that it was my microwave.”

They also went through my room and left the door unlocked.

I couldn't have possibly said it better. William Fitzsimmons has touched on just about everything I've ever been through in my own life plus things that I hope never happen. It's all very real, tangible and visceral. On the first listen through with this album I thought that it wasn't as good as the previous two, but the more I listened to it the more I reaiized that it was, in fact, a masterpiece...possible better than the others.
