@annma: AFAIK the booth box contains a screen, some demo machine, cables, powerplugs, a switch, posters and merchandising such as t-shirts, stickers and pins (that varies though).

I wonder if there is a detailed list of the content somewhere...

What exactly is the content of the boothbox?
What people need are KDE pins, pens, ... small material that could be handed or sold cheap. Does it have such things?
Most needed: flyers! What about online pdfs?
At next Akademy there will be serious work about all this based on what for example the Brazilian people are doing and if the community website is operational then this should really make KDE presence effective in more events.
In France we are nowhere, in no events. There's no active kde-fr (where to host a website that won't disappear when the private owner leaves? what URL? who pays for it?...) and nobody is there to coordinate anything.

I use those two http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/41442 http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/8390 to bypass the annoying choice when adding a feed and to make favicons show up in Reader to make it prettier and easier to recognize individual feeds.
I also use CustomizeGoogle to tweak a few things but not much.
I used "Remember The Milk for Gmail" before but switched to the labs applet as it is a lot nicer imho.

Unfortunately, nearly all recent compact cameras are crap. They have extremely much megapixels, but the pictures are noisy like hell if taken at higher ISO Levels, which means that pictures taken inside rooms are either very noisy or have to be taken with flash (unfortunately, the integrated flash is often crappy as well). This is my experience, but it might be unfair as I compared max. 200€-compact cameras with my rather bulky back-then 600€-SLR (it's an Canon EOS 400D, which is sold for under 400€ now).

I haven't tested the camera myself, but the Lumix DMC-FX35 from Panasonic gets pretty good reviews and the price (180€) seems reasonable. Don't expect too much from it, but the pictures are certainly a gigantic leap from a mobile phone cam.

congrats! that is an awesome job to have (even if you are stuck in oslo :)

anyway, i looking at your OSS Showcase and noticed that all the mentions of Amarok are about Amarok BETA, and we released Amarok 2 yesterday. so you may want to tweak that a little :)

cheers,
leo
