Heh. I was so proud of myself for giving up caffeine for 10 months...but then I went back to the dark side. I mean, dark roast.

I love Candy Corn! So many people think they're gross, which they are, but I will still eat them by the handfuls.

It's been a while since I've been to your blog. I like what you've done with it! And I want to see your award-winning painting :)

Nice post.

An expert is a person that has made every possible mistake within a very narrow field of expertise.

The idea that formal education creates experts in complete bollocks, but one that is widespread throughout modern, Western society. One more reason it's all downhill from here.

I'll be watching to see how the water fuel thing works out. I am skeptical by nature, and am so with Brown's gas generators. It's generally accepted that it takes more energy to disassociate the Hydrogen and Oxygen than the recombining can produce. The energy seems to come from the battery, the draining of which should cause a strain on the engine requiring to burn more gasoline, but I am open to changing my mind. My question is, if it is that easy and inexpensive to significantly boost gas milage, why aren't the car companies doing it? I can't imagine Ford, Chrysler, and GM wouldn't jump at the chance to even slightly improve the milage of their trucks, vans, and SUVs. Please report back on your experiences.

I suppose my post didn't express my opinions on conservation well enough. I do think that conservation is key at the moment - as I said we're fitting our cars with "water fuel" systems that'll use hydrogen to increase our cars' efficiency without having to purchase a pricey Prius, as both our cars are paid off. So yes, conservation is necessary but we still need to think about our future fuel needs and our economy's growth.
