Okay I'm a DMV native. I use to listen to Russ Parr show faithfully when Olivia Fox was on with him. But without Olivia Fox, Russ just became stupid. So I switched to HOT 99.5 because Kane, Sarah & Sammy are F***** hiliarious!!!! I never listened to 95.5 in the morning because Donnie Simpson would put me to sleep. But honestly when Tigger became the morning host I switched back and forth between HOT 99.5 and 95.5
I'm sad to see Tigger leave because he is a HUGE part of the DMV area and its not just the radio. But I wish him nothing but success. I am going to really miss hearing him on the radio in the mornings and his Twitter Talk!! Good Luck Free!!!

Why are we so sure Hunter will be back... Hes only on a one year contract. A good coach will fit the teams skills with the system, not the other way around. Hunter has been trying to fit square pegs in round holes since he started here. I remember hearing Federov Sr state something like your cant win with Farmers. Starting to make a lot of sense to me, and i hope GMGM and Ted recognize this. We have thuroughbreds, not bruisers. Let them skate, preech defensive responisbility but there has to be some happy medium. Soon as Bruce started trying to rein in the horses, the team has been in a downward spiral (7 game streak at the start withstanding). Bring in a guy with an offensive mind with at least one true DFD per line and see offensive magic. What hurt us two years ago when we won the Presidents Trophy was a lack goaltending and to far balanced on the O. Now its too much D and barely any O. There has to be a coach that kind find a happy medium somewhere!

David,

Excellent work as usual.

I am not sure, however, about the motivating force thing. It sounds like the type of belief that was popular before sabermetrics came along. These guys are the top players and don’t usually need motivating to try and win.

Also, the bullpen is a strength for the team, but I know you know that.

It’s great to finally be able to talk about the Nats in a good light. The laughingstocks era is finally over!

Your blog on the financial reporting was factually incorrect. While Mr. Hunter did indeed raise money outside of the DC metro area, his report gives each city, state and zip code. While 10 out of 26 of Mr. Salatti's donations came from outside of the DC metro (which is certainly out of Bloomingdale) and 8 of those are where the DC state marks are to area codes in other states such as 80112, 98103,32162,11795, 11704,36303, 27616 & 29413. Now we the voters in Ward 5 will see if the McDuffie Campaign or the Salatti campaign will have credibility to step forward and correct this type of misleading information

I think the important detail here is that the number counts households, not people. Single adults living with roommates could contribute to the percentage of single-occupant households by reducing the total number of households being counted. The more roommates you have, the less your household factors into the count.
