It's great to be part of a church with leaders that have a vision to reach the city for Jesus. Radiant is a city within a city, a light on the hill. This move is shaking up the inhabitants of Sheol, so I am in prayer for us all. Every one of us must be prepared for an intense spiritual battle, because the enemy will attack us at our weakest flank.

We are victors - more than conquerers - in Jesus name!

I am very excited about Radiant Church and the vision that the church has for the northeast of Colorado Springs, and eventually other parts of the city. Colorado Springs is a spiritual battle ground where many souls can be brought into the Kingdom of God. Let's all become active in prayer for the very important 20/20 Vision.

I use an interesting method of reaching those in our community. When shopping, frequent the same, but limited number of stores. Get to know, and call by their name, the check out clerks, deli & produce stockers, managers, pharmacists, gas station attendants, etc.

Go to those who may be different than you. Some may give the appearance of being ‘hard,’ ‘tough,’ ‘angry’ especially to the gospel or Christianity. Don’t be pre-judgmental. Once you get to know them, and show them some kindness, they will warm up to you. I’ve seen it happen all the time.

On future visits, take time to purposely go back to the same people, and find out how they are doing. In showing some interest in them, they will invariably ask about you. Give interesting but non-threatening answers that may encourage the conversation over the next visits. People always ask about your weekend plans. I like the line “I’m going to prison,” or “I’m going to a nursing home.”

The process is long, and may take months and years; but it’s worth it. Some may be temporary employees, or soon to leave the area. This may have been their only chance to hear that Jesus loves them.
Some may have anger towards the church or religious institutions because of their perception that their lifestyle is politically unacceptable; and so we condemn the person along with their activity. This is YOUR chance to address the heart and spirit, and not the outward manifestation.
Some may have known the Lord years ago, and these visits are a way the Lord uses to bring them back to their own roots in Christ.

The scenarios are endless, and so are the opportunities.

Well, I’m off to Wal-Mart, and see how B___, and Y____, and M___, and S____, and the others are doing.

Wow, Awesome things are happening in extreme mountain adventures. God showed up in both services Sunday. We had kids totally surrendered to God and weeping with tears of joy. The Holy Spirit was speaking through people and the energy in the room was so powerful that the room was shaking. There was such an omnipresent feeling of Gods Spirit as we surrendered and experienced his Love! While going around the room and praying for so many kids surrendering to God and filled with the the spirit while it was raining down on us. Then the spirit moved to the youth band and Pastor Dan asked them to come down off the stage to be prayed over. When they came down the spirit moved through Pastor Dan, the surrounding leaders and kids as alot of us were praying over them people and some were prophesiing over them. The Spirit then moved to Pastor Dan. We prayed over him in the power of the Spirit with many prayers, while all were feeling the wonderful and migthty Spirit. So much God was in the room that it was hard to break for the ending of service we just had a hard time leaving Gods presence. When I left the altar I felt so much love that I went to the nearest person which was John on sound and Ryan my son and gave them the longest tearful hugs and I told them that I loved them and God Bless them. That time was amazing and truely a beautiful time with God, a day to remember for eternity.
My prayer is: Holy God, continue to bless our ministry and all of Radiant Church as we prepare for the flood of souls that will soon come through our doors!, thank you, Jesus

I was formerly attending Restoration Church for many years. Although we are sad to go (we moved to the other end of town) we were so pleased to attend Radiants services the last couple weeks. I am so excited to have been lead to a church that can fulfill so many of my needs as well as those of my children. While it still a bit of a drive for us we, will continue to come back 3 times a week just to hear God's word and be filled with knowledge to excite Colorado Springs about Jesus and his Grace and Mercy, but mostly His Love! Thanks again! Mandy

Wow!!!! Can you say exciting!!! As much as we love Pastor Todd's preaching and teaching, the kids are getting just as blessed in Pastor Dan's Children's church ministry. His use of various media (lights, sounds, characters, music) to present the gospel message is so effective that our children are gaining lessons that they can take into their homes/neighborhoods/schools, fulfilling Radiants vision of impacting their world. You should have seen the look of awe and fascination on the face of a visiting parent 2 weeks ago as he dropped off his children at the XFactoryE. They returned again last week and I know they are being blessed. Thank you Radiant.

I agree. The new Extreme Mountain Adventure Kid’s Ministry is AWESOME! Our 7-year old looks forward to going each week and doesn’t want to leave when its time to go.

We often hear her at home singing the songs that she learned there. It is exciting for us to see how engaged she is in the whole program. We are totally impressed!
