according to the Canadian archives April Fools Post he was part of the 1st Parachute https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1st_Canadian_Parachute_Battalion which was integrated with the British Red Devils (originally the commandos) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6th_Airborne_Division_(United_Kingdom) might explain the chronolgy

wolverine could regenerate with the left over matetr after the rest is disintegrated by jean, so it has nothing to do with jeans ability to disintegrate matetr. He can just simply regenerate from wounds that are slow damaging, unlike nuclear bomb which could vaporize him almost instantly. Mar 19 ’12 at 18:30

his only power was regeneration. Besides now they can run the story of Magneto stippirng it off of the claws when he gets his powers back if they ever decide to make another full X-Men movie again. Why do people keep talking about Logan being abducted by Project Weapon X? He volunteered for the project. I thought they answered that in the second X-Men movie?

I’ve been an X-Men comic fan since I was a kid in the 80’s. I know just about everything there is to know about them. I just wtchaed this Wolverine trailer and I have to say I think it looks like it might be pretty damn good! When I saw that first shorter teaser trailer a few months back, I had my worries. I thought it looked a lot like the Elektra movie with Jennifer Garner (that would NOT have been a good thing!) But this trailer here has me excited to see the film. We all have to accept that it’s not gonna ne exactly like the comics. Some things HAVE to be changed for Hollywood. The only thing that bothers me about when the movies do things differently, the comics ALWAYS change things to be like the movie. Thats the worst. Like after the first X-Men movie came out, they changed how Wolverine’s claws popped out to make it like the movie. There’s NO REASON to do that! So hopefully the comics will remain the comics and the movies will remail the movies. Slightly different, but still enjoyable (HOPEFULLY!)
