Hey There Yumyumpanda,
Interesting Post, There's room here for jokes about bad cooks, but I cooked it myself, and five people served themselves from the pot. The food remained in a slow cooker for two more hours then the cooker turned off. Three hours later it was foaming and smelled like (sorry) vomit. One of my guests confessed that she is not supposed to touch food because she has what her family calls in Spanish, Mano Pesada, or Heavy Hand. I'm looking for a logical explanation such as perhaps she and people like her produce some chemical that has that effect on food. I'm not ready to have my kitchen exorcised, but I have to admit I'm spooked by the memory--and I'm a bachelor accostomed to leaving food out perhaps a little longer than I should!! Just for clarity, I cooked white beans, beef tripe, and pigs feet, with carrots, pumpkin, onions, peppers and garlic, first in a pressure cooker than moved it to the slow cooker. Go ahead and make ethnic food jokes..I do. But nobody can explain this to me. Thank you.
Keep up the posts!

yum! I love pig feet - but I only get it once a year -- Chinese New Years! This recipe looks easy enough that maybe I'll attempt one weekend when I have more time! Thanks for sharing!

sure, simply cook everything on the stove over low heat for 3-4 hours. if there is not enough liquid to cover the feet, add a little bit of water. does that help?
