We are based in Atlanta, Georgia which is in the Eastern Time Zone. But the folks organizing Earth Hour have made it easy on everyone – the official Earth Hour is 8:30 PM local time on Saturday, March 28th, 2009.

Here’s another option that not only can reduce the footprint but make life generally easier as well – work off a digital library.

Yes, there are differences in sound quality betweek different formats, but a digital library can reduce the amount of packaging and printing that you consume and reduce the weight of the equipment you haul around.

That’s my take on it… love to hear from folks that have first hand experience DJing.
