There was no sign of Robert Plant at his label’s big anniversary extravaganza in Nashville tonight. Odd, given the sales Raising Sand generated for Rounder.

- I had seen Robert Plant in person a few years ago when visiting relatives in London, I’m surprised he isn’t in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fsme anyway!

The CBE is just one level below Knighthood. I’d rather see him get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist, since 2007 marked his first year of eligibility.

Anything is possible. But having it “in the can” and it being something that Robert (or even the other Strange Sensation members) is interested in having released are two different things. Since Robert doesn’t seem to be under any pressure from a label to release an album at any time, I can’t see it being released just to release something.

I want to hear whatever Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation still have in the can from before he teamed up with Alison Krauss! Apparently, there’s another album’s worth of Strange Sensation material left over since Mighty ReArranger! Think this will ever come out?
