Staying ahead of the curve is instrumental to any business survival. Expanding your customer base in a global economy requires resources to invest in branding, name recognition, networking and sales. There are some businesses that drastically cut this part of their annual budget in recessionary times. The consequence of this action is slower sales, reduced revenue and reduced exposure of a company's product's and services.

Cost effective investment in marketing and sales such as hiring a social networking expert, internet advertising and a creative web site designer will increase sales production. Many strong sales people already have these skill sets so putting together a veteran sales force is key.
Some potential commercial properties will entice you with an attractive cap rate but these numbers can be deceiving. In analyzing a property's cap rate one must use realistic data for that local market. Inflation concerns keep growing as the national debt reaches historical levels. The Fed as artificially held down interest rates for more than 2 years but this policy will soon stop. What does this mean for business owners and real estate investors? High inflation will drive interest rates much like the late 1970's. As interest rates climb more and more borrowers become disqualified leaving a greater surplus of properties. Currently the national average is 9 months but this may continue to grow with a large amount of foreclosures soon to hit the market.
This remains the ideal time to buy. Prices are low and interest rates remain at or near historic lows. Delaying a purchase could result in paying to much for a property because interest rates will soon rise exponentially. Low prices plus low rates equal the perfect storm to buy and hold. This recovery will take a lot longer than other recessions because of the great many factors effecting the economy. A solid real estate investment strategy is needed to weather the storm ahead. Part of that strategy should include establishing multiple lines of credit in advance to provide the necessary working capital for your business. Remember: the decisions we make or don't make today will either pay dividends in the future or have tremendous consequences.
It was also suggested that Social Security could soon follow suit. (2017 social secuirty retirees will outnumber workers!)

Well, here’s the proof that it’s already starting ...

According to an article recently published by Kiplinger, the Social Security Administration is secretly working on a new rule that could remove one of the best ways for current Social Security recipients to immediately increase their monthly benefit checks.

This strategy isn’t exactly popular — only about 1,000 savvy retirees took advantage of it in 2009 ... out of 37 MILLION people receiving Social Security benefits!

A lot more people would be using it if only they knew this secret provision existed. Washington knows that too, which is precisely why they’re working to shut it down now, before word really gets out. How is that for a cut to social security?

I have been writing about federal budget deficits which are at a staggering 16 trillion will explode once the social security crisis takes hold.

This will have the effect of driving up interest rates and inflation to double digits. Employment will follow suit.

Stop Paying to Much for Energy

Stop paying to much for energy!

De-regulation means you can shop for lower rates. We have the experience and knowledge to get you the cheapest energy rates for your business. By changing suppliers and locking in on today’s cheaper rates you can save now and protect against future increases. Our average savings is 20-50%.

In the past 10 years, electric rates have tripled and because of increasing future demand this will surely rise. Lock in today and start paying less next month.

EXAMPLE: Your electric bill currently is $10,000 per month. By switching with America Approved, you could save from 2-5k per month. That is real savings!

What if you are a larger commercial building and you are paying 250k per year? You could save over $50k per year!

Energy rates are low so now is the perfect time to lock!

This is what I need to get your business approved. Send to my attention the last 3 months of gas and electricity bills. Simple! I will get back to you with a quote from our wholesale market.

T. Scott Ryley (Mr. Norm) said...A lot of fear is driving the mortgage market. A tremendous amount of adjustible rate mortgages are coming due in 2007 and 2008 with a market in decline. Many of these sub-prime loans have been performing. So why the fear?
Many borrowers are already overextended due to credit cards, auto loans, etc.. Property taxes in most parts of the country are equal to small 2nd mortgages. Increased insurance premiums have tripled in 4 years. Add in increased mortgage expenses and you have chaos.
Excessive Gov't spending as long been known to be the cause of economic instability. With interest rates at historic lows and gov't spending at historic highs something has to give.
Low Interest rates and Prices for commercial real estate continue to make this an attractive investment. With more people entering the rental market, muti-unit buildings and condo complexes will be in higher demand. Commercial retail buildings in strategic locations and secured with strong anchor tenants, can also be an attractive buy because of lower prices.
Financing options are available for terms up 30 years on certain products. Retail up to 20 years.
Really? I say ask their wives who do the grocery shopping and pay the bills. Food prices in real numbers are up by over 25% in the last year. Here is the game. Reduce the amount of product and increase the price. Example: 13 oz. can of coffee that sold for $1.99 is now $2.49 with only 11oz..
Meat prices continue to climb by over 20% in the last year. Milk prices are climbing nationally.
One measurement used is the Consumer price index. Unfortunately, this index does not include energy or food cost. Why one would ask? Because of the volatility in those groups.
Energy cost remain low because demand worldwide has been slow and an eagerness of some countries to explore alternatives to fossil fuels. Food prices continue to climb.
Historically, excessive gov't spending and regulation as been a route cause of inflation, higher interest rates and excessive unemployment. The next shockwave will be the insolvancy of social security. Does anyone want higher payroll taxes?
